Homemade Frosty Paws - Perfect to keep your Doggy cool in the Summer!

We all love an ice cream on a boiling hot day, and your canine friend is no different! Something nice and cool to bring their temp down, give them a bit of relief from that fur coat they cant take off and of course eat something yummy as all dogs like to do!

It will come as no surprise to most that I had this recipe from an American friend, the USA is the home of all the best treats in the world and that includes doggy treats!

A special mention should go to the owner of Azera's Instagram friend Grizwald @grizzywolf who was kind enough to share this recipe with me. I do vary the amounts though I tend to buy a big pot of yoghurt and then pop extra peanut butter in as thats Azera's favourite flavour, then freeze loads of them so I have extras if doggie friends come to visit.

Ingredients

2 Cups Natural yoghurt

1 Banana

1 tbsp Peanut butter

1 tbsp Honey

Optional some fruit to pop in whole or in small chunks:

Blueberries

Raspberries

Strawberries

Method

Mix all ingredients together in a blender then pour into moulds to freeze. I use silicone cupcake cases and fill them just over half it tends to be a good potion size, although if you have a bigger dog you can always use something bigger! If using the fruit you can either pop them in the bottom of the mould before pouring in the mixture or drop them in and press them down slightly so the fruit is through the yoghurt.

I promise your pretty pup will not be disappointed with the results - dont forget to share you pics on one of our social channels, we love to see all your furry friends.

Love

Steph & Azera xx
